At Gruby Josek your company Christmas Eve dinner or festive family gathering will be graced by a remarkable rendition of Warsaw cuisine. The inimitable atmosphere will put you in fine spirits and guarantee that genuinely warm bonds are struck.
Set near the historic Plac Mirowski, Gruby Josek suits a small crew and a big one alike. Modern in form, yet keeping the memory of old Warsaw, it takes equal care of the food and the spirit of the city. We will arrange any party for you — and not only a small one: we can seat as many as 150 guests. For more intimate occasions we can set aside a private area. Partition screens underline the mood and give a sense of comfort during a business dinner or a team celebration.

Inspired by old publications and books on Warsaw cuisine — often more than a century old — we bring forgotten recipes back to life, to carry our distinguished gourmets, if only for a moment, into the one-of-a-kind world of our beloved city’s pre-war gastronomy.
Fried royal carp in a cream-and-wine sauce with dill potatoes, or traditional pierogi with sauerkraut and mushrooms… Such experiences will linger long and fondly in the memory.
Our homemade liqueurs and other drinks are made in-house to original recipes.

The final confirmation of the event is a written order (e-mail) and a payment of 20% of the menu value into our account, made as soon as possible.
We provide thoroughly professional waiter service throughout the event. A 10% service charge will be added to the final bill.
